Sometimes you just gotta rent a remote control tank
When one of the pumps at Hamilton's Wild Waterworks went on the blink, they called Duke to get the kiddies slipping and sliding again. Trouble is, the pumps are buried in the ground in the middle of the park. The one we had to replace was a 75 HP beast that weighed 2,000 lbs. And there was no easy way to get it into the park.
We put the 2,000 lb motor on a remote control mini-"tank" and drove it to the hole in the ground.
So where are the photos, you ask? Why didn't we go live from the park, or at least shoot some video? We hang our heads in shame. Truth is, we were so absorbed in executing Operation Tank that we forgot. Next time—we promise!
